The Hybrid Kit for the Longshot is a combination of a sealed pusher breech and a stock breech. The advantage of this system is that you can use both standard and short darts with similar performance to a pusher style sealed breech. The Hybrid System uses the expansion of the dart body during firing to create a near perfect seal between the breech and chamber during the first few milliseconds of the firing sequence. Once the dart clears the joint between the breech and chamber the raw power of the expanded aluminum plunger tube keeps the darts accelerating down the barrel.

Our aluminum plunger body was the largest we could fit into the blaster without having to permanently modify the shell and its straight walled design prevents air from escaping past the plunger head during firing. The open ended design creates a durable system allowing shock to be absorbed by the highly impact resistant kit parts and not the shell of your blaster.
