Our stage 2 kit replaces the original breech and bolt carrier group
with our own Orange Breech, aluminum bolt sled, and plunger. The Orange
Breech is unique in that it gives you the advantage of precision-cut
metal tubing while preserving the original function of the blaster. With the breech creating a near perfect seal with the dart, distance and accuracy
are greatly increased. Included in this kit:- Metal alloy bolt sled with pin
- Aluminum breech with O-ring
- Aluminum plunger
- Silicone grease

Note: Performance stats are measured with both Stage 1 AND Stage 2 kits installed in the Recon. The Stage 2 kit by itself will only grant minimal performance gains over a stock Recon. This kit is designed primarily to reinforce your Recon's fragile stock internals for the additional power of the spring included in the Stage 1 kit.
- 90fps muzzle velocity with up to 65ft range (parallel to the ground) with stock streamline darts.
- 90fps muzzle velocity with up to 85ft range (30 degrees angled to ground) with stock streamline darts.
- With weighted darts, we achieved ranges of 70ft parallel to ground and 85ft 30 degrees angled to the ground.
Installation: - Remove screws from blaster.
- Open blaster (gently pry the seam with a flat head screwdriver if needed).
- Locate and remove original breech, plunger, and bolt sled.
- Place O-ring onto the new breech.
- Lubricate O-ring with included lubricant packet.
- Install new Unleashed: Performance Kit breech, plunger, and bolt sled.
- Reassemble your blaster.
*It is advisable to lubricate all metal to metal and metal to plastic contact to keep the action of your blaster smooth.
Design changes:
- November, 2011: The interior diameter of the breech mouth
changes from 9/16 of an inch down to ½ inch.
Product revisions:
- November, 2011:
The mouth the breech was re-machined to address
a jamming problem. O-ring buffer added to the plunger to prevent
metal on metal impacts.
Current issues:
- October, 2011: Some variations of the Recon shell are more
jam-prone than others. This can be fixed by removing some of the excess plastic
inside of the shell.
